What this notice covers

This notice covers this website only. Our products (CareDental, CareNova and CareNova Practice) process patient data on behalf of the clinics and practitioners who use them. Those clinics decide how that data is used, and each product has its own terms. How we protect that data is described on our security page.

What we collect, and why

• Contact form: your name, organisation, email address, product of interest and message. We use these to reply to you. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (answering enquiries) or, where you are asking about a service, steps before entering a contract.
• Emails you send us: we keep the correspondence so we can answer you. Same lawful basis.
• Spam check: the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details to tell people from bots. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (keeping the form secure).
• Site analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics and Plausible Analytics to see how the site is used. They work without cookies and without building profiles of individual visitors. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (understanding and improving the site).
• Server logs: our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address and user agent for security and reliability.

Who we share it with

We use these providers to run the site: Scala Hosting (email), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Cloudflare (spam check) and Plausible (analytics). If you book a call through Cal.com, that is handled under Cal.com's own privacy notice. We do not sell personal data.

Transfers outside the UK

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to reply and to keep a reasonable record of the conversation, and then delete them. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your personal data, and ask us to correct it, erase it or restrict how we use it. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where it applies, you can also ask for your data in a portable format. Email hello@etnahealth.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
